First Lady Stephanie (Rose) Ivy, the fourth sibling out of six children to the late great French and Alma Rose, is a native of Muncie, Indiana. First Lady Ivy's family was the first family to join First Street C.O.G.I.C, later renamed Wall Avenue C.O.G.I.C, in 1965 where the late great Pastor Kenneth and First Lady Annette Ivy were the overseers. It was here she met and grew up with her future husband, Pastor Kevin Ivy, Sr. On August 23, 1975, Pastor and First Lady Ivy were married. The church then moved to its 1805 Wall Avenue location. She is the proud mother of five children (four boys and one girl) and also a grandparent to ten grandchildren.

 

While at Wall Avenue New Year's Eve service in 1991, the Lord saved her when she told him "I don't want to be a hypocrite. I want to be saved." The Lord anointed her with the gift of laying on hands, working the alter, prayer, and travailing. She has seen the power of God move thru Wall Avenue in services and revivals. In 1994 during a revival ran by the late great Pastor Donald Curlin, her father in the gospel, she experienced the power of God to the point where it left both her and Pastor Ivy on the altar. She knows that experiences like that have prepared her for such a time as we are experiencing today. Soon after the passing of First Lady Annette Ivy, the Lord spoke to Pastor Kevin and they took the family and left Wall Avenue C.O.G.I.C.

 

Working right beside her husband, the Lord led them to go into churches to birth out prayer, which included Ambassadors of Christ, Cathedral of Praise, Christ Temple, and Deliverance Temple. She has seen and experienced God moving in prayer at these different churches, souls being delivered, and set free.

 

In 2002, the Lord impressed upon Pastor and First Lady Ivy's heart to begin their own ministry, Repairing the Breach Ministries. Through R.T.B. Ministries, the Lord has blessed Pastor and First Lady. The ministry is growing and God's presence dwells there. The power of God is moving in such a might way that people are being saved, delivered, and healed.
